Adjustable Draw Latches are used for applications where the latching distance can either vary or the distance is unknown. The key difference between one of these and the simple Draw Latch, is that if the latching distance changes then one of these can simply be adjusted by unscrewing the catch that goes over the counterstrike, for a larger or smaller latching distance.
