What is...
Compression Latches provide sealing of enclosures to reduce vibration and provide noise isolation. Their action provides up to 7mm of compression which is ideal for achieving a tight fitting gasket.
Compatible with our flexi system cams. Provide 7mm of compression. Available in steel and stainless steel, and chrome or black powder finish.
Quarter-turn to lock and a further quarter-turn to compress or tighten. Adjustment easily made by moving the position of the nuts on the stud.
Used widely in vending machines, tills and point of sale devices as well as in cages, this lock provides compression from the rear.

General Guidance
First 90° turn - from latch unlocked position, the first 90° turn moves the cam behind the enclosure frame. The door is latched against the frame.
Final 90° turn - full 180° position - the final 90° engages the compression of the latch and draws the door to the frame, compressing any seal or gasket into the locked position. Up to 7mm of compression is provided.
