What is...
Our Cam Locking One-Touch Fasteners allow quick and recurring change overs of tooling setups through an easy on/off switch being turned 45°. This makes them ideal for use in bottling processes, machine covers or the changing of cogs and drive belts in an assembly.
Wixroyd’s range of Cam Locking One-Touch Fasteners are available in stainless steel with polyamide knobs where applicable. Locating bushes are also available for use on soft metals such as aluminium where receiving surfaces may wear. The pin follows the receptacle cam profile to lock and positively clamp two surfaces together.

Operating Principle
- The shank retracts at the unclamping position to enable operations without interference with the base panel.
- When the pin contacts along the cam surface in the cam receptacle, the spring gets compressed to press down the panel.
Operation Instructions
- Ensure that the knob is positioned at the "OFF" mark and the pin is retracted.
- Locate the cam receptacle directly under the fastener. Insert retracted pin by pressing the knob down.
- Turn the knob to the "ON" mark for clamping. The knob clicks when clamped. Turning the knob to the "OFF" position, the pin returns automatically to the unclamping position.
