Magnetic One-Touch Fasteners are especially good for fastening panels and covers; the use of magnetic force for fastening means no special tools are required to access the application. Available in stainless and nickel-plated steel in pull clamp and simple magnetic hold designs. They are limited to installation on panels of 6 – 20mm in thickness, and it is worth noting that the locating bush associated with the pin that is the magnetic component.
Pull clamping fasteners on the other hand work by a pin forcing clamping wedges to spread, which pulls two surfaces together for secure fastening. This gives it a unique function by locking and clamping simultaneously. Actuating the button will retract the pin and thus the wedges, releasing the clamping of the two surfaces. This makes them suitable for securing panels and enclosures of 3 to 12 mm.

Features
Operating Principle
- The tapered pin expanded by the wedge pushes out against the edge of the hole on the base panel, and the two panels are clamped.
- Just a tapped hole and a through hole are required.
Operating Instructions
- While depressing the actuation button, align the pin in the receiving hole.
- Once pin is aligned and seated in the receiving hole, release button. Pin will retract, forcing clamping wedges to spread and pull the two panels together to securely fasten.
- To release, reverse steps describe above.
