What is a Thread Mount Index Plunger?
Index Plungers have a retractable pin mechanism to help with indexing, positioning, and locking/fastening parts together. Thread Mount Index Plungers feature a locking-type pin that can be held in a retracted or non-projecting position by turning 90° to engage 'locking' on a notched catch. This makes them preferable when you need to prevent any change in the locking position because of lateral forces. Wixroyd's Thread Mount Index Plungers are available in stainless steel, blackened steel or galvanised steel with thermoplastic grips when applicable.
