Threaded Lifting Pins have a retractable thread, which allows you to insert the lifting pin into a threaded hole in just seconds. Wixroyd's Threaded Lifting Pins have an aluminium button (below the movable shackle) which the user can push to either lock or release the pins for easy installation. These Threaded Lifting Pins are a reliable, CE-marked part designed for lifting and holding individual loads. Other lifting parts such as eye bolts need to be time-consumingly screwed in and out of threaded holes, or require that you incorporate separate bored locating holes for lifting, which is not always possible.
Threaded Lifting Pins allow you to utilise pre-existing threads for lifting applications in a time-efficient manner, thus making these lifting pins the ideal solution for lifting heavy loads quickly and easily.

Double swivel metric threaded lifting pins available in steel and precipitation hardened stainless steel (AISI 630/17-4PH; suitable for outdoor use). Also available in imperial/inch thread sizes - see product no. 3B425.
To prevent the actuation button from being depressed and releasing the Threaded Lifting Pin at the wrong moment, a protective bar is incorporated into the lifting shackle to prevent anything accidentally hitting the button. The maximum lifting capacity can range up to 840 kg depending on the model. The exceptional lifting capacity of these Threaded Lifting Pins has been certified by TÜV Süd, and they are CE-compliant.
The Threaded Lifting Pins are available in two materials:
Steel, heat-treated with manganese phosphate
Precipitation hardened stainless steel (1.4542)
Both versions are well protected against corrosion and are heat-resistant up to 250°C. The stainless steel lifting pin is weather-resistant and therefore exceptionally suited to outdoor use. These lifting pins are in stock for same-day dispatch in thread sizes M10, M12 and M16, but other sizes are also quickly produced and dispatched.

Please follow these instructions carefully
Ensure all lifting pins are CE marked.
Ensure they are handled by qualified personnel.
Refer to the operating instructions particularly with regards to product selection, any possibility of the load swivelling, the effect of lifting angles on the load capacity (see relevant tables), etc.
Never allow any personnel underneath a suspended load.
Always heed the load rating of the lifting pins.
Always perform a visual inspection of the lifting pins prior to use. Checking for any damage to thread and/or swivelling system. Check for wear or corrosion, signs of stress or bending. Check CE mark and load rating.
Ensure a yearly full service inspection is performed.
Always ensure the full bottom face of the lifting pins is in contact with a smooth, square surface.
Before each lift ensure the correct orientation of the shackle in the lift direction.
