Toggle Clamps are versatile mechanical devices used to securely hold or clamp objects in place during various industrial and manufacturing processes. Economy Toggle Clamps
Economy version of the horizontal acting toggle clamps made from zinc plated steel. Supplied with clamping screw and rubber nose.
Economy vertical-acting toggle clamps with open/closed arms and vertical/horizontal base choices.

Steel Toggle Clamps
Horizontal acting toggle clamps made from zinc plated and passivated steel or stainless steel. Bushes are made from case hardened and greased steel. Their easily actuated handles are made from grease resistant plastic.
Vertical acting toggle clamps made from zinc plated and passivated steel or stainless steel. Bushes are made from case hardened and greased steel. Their easily actuated handles are made from grease resistant plastic.
Latch type toggle clamps made from zinc plated and passivated steel or stainless steel. Their easily actuated handles are made from grease resistant plastic. Fixed catches are available seperately.
Push-pull manual toggle clamps with a compact design that maintains long travel length. Ideal for space efficient applications.
Stainless Steel Toggle Clamps
Fully stainless steel versions of our push-pull toggle clamps. Supplied with appropriate stainless clamping screw and rubber nose.
Hook type toggle clamps made from zinc plated and passivated steel or stainless steel. Their easily actuated handles are made from grease resistant plastic. Fixed catches are available seperately.
Safety Lever Toggle Clamps
The safety lever holds the clamping arm in both the clamped and open position. This prevents opening under vibration or accidental movement of the clamping arm during assembly/disassembly of the fixture.
Heavy Duty Toggle Clamps
Heavy vertical toggle clamps are especially suitable for production equipment and fixtures. Base choices: vertical or horizontal.
The heavy duty hook type toggle clamp has 4 mounting holes in both foot and catch. Circlips are used to retain pins in bearing bushes, and to center the clamping pin.
Heavy duty push pull toggle clamps have a very strong construction with long push-rod guidance. Reversible lever version available.
Weldable, with removable or solid hand levers. Complete with tempered clamping screws.
Pneumatic Toggle Clamps
Equipped with double-acting FESTO pneumatic cylinder and a valve to control the speed of operation.
Heavy duty horizontal pneumatic toggle clamps are ideal for installation in material handling lines and special purpose machines.
Opening and closing of clamp can be controlled electronically, allowing integration into automated processes.
Can be equipped with normal hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders; for this the rod connection is interchangeable.
What is a Toggle Clamp?
A toggle clamp is a piece of workholding equipment that retains an object in place for machining or processing by applying force. Toggle clamps offer secure positioning, are fast and easy to operate. The materials our toggle clamps are available in are: steel (hardened, zinc-plated and passivated, and/or with blackened finish) or stainless steel.

Explanation of Toggle Clamp forces
Holding forces f1 or f2
The force transmitted to the workpiece by the Toggle Clamp's closed arm, without itself being deformed when machine forces are applied.
Holding force value is dependent upon proximity of the measuring point to the Toggle Clamp's pivot point (hence two values, f1 and f2 provided).
Clamping forces f3 or f4
The force applied to the workpiece when the Toggle Clamp's arm is closed. Clamping force can only be stated for Pneumatic Toggle Clamps - clamping forces of manual clamps can not be correctly measured as it is dependent upon the operator.
Piston forces f5
For pneumatically controlled Toggle Clamps only, f5 is the piston force required to achieve the stated clamping force.
