Ball lock pins are used for a host of different applications across a wide range of sectors and industries - in other words, anywhere where connections need to be released frequently and quickly, e.g. for attaching loudspeaker systems and securing transport container locks or as belt strap clasps in air planes and fasteners of brake discs.
The available dimensions and materials of our ball lock pins need to be as varied as the areas of applications they are used for. After all, every application comes with its own set of specific requirements.
Even if sporting extended function lengths and diameters, our ball lock pins with diameters and lengths of up to 25 mm and 150 mm, are available with an ergonomic T or L-handle made of aluminium, with a compact button handle and with a safety handle protecting against an inadvertent detachment. The latest addition to this already extensive selection is a simplified version and a version that comes with an ergonomic thermoplastic handle. Both of the new models can be supplied in four colour variants with diameters and lengths of up to 25 mm - previously 20 mm - and 120 mm, respectively. Also new to the product family is a special version that offers an adjustable clamping length, on this new model the adjustment can be continuously up to 10 mm by means of a nut/lock nut. All ball lock pins included in Wixroyds’ range are made of either stainless steel (1.4305) or precipitation hardened stainless steel (1.4542).
